The programme to launch the BA Applied Sanskrit course was inaugurated by IGNOU Vice-Chancellor Nageshwar Rao. The medium of the Sanskrit course is Hindi and its duration is 3 years. The fee for the BA Applied Sanskrit course is Rs. 4,500 annually.

Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) will conduct a campus placement drive on Friday, February 15, 2023. IGNOU will conduct this placement drive for Air India SATS and APTARA at IGNOU headquarters. The registration process for this campus placement drive will be started on the same day. The registration process will be from 9:30 am to 10:30 pm. While the pre-placement will be held at 11 am at Baba Saheb Ambedkar Convention Centre, IGNOU Maidan Garhi Campus. Only IGNOU Students can participate in the IGNOU Campus Placement Drive.
The National Book Trust is going to organise the ”World Book Fair” from February 25 to March 5 at Pragati Maidan. France will be the guest country at the book fair this time. The fair will be held in a very grand manner. It will have books in Hindi, and English as well as 24 regional languages of India.
Apart from France, other foreign literature will also be given a separate place in the fair. Indira Gandhi National Open University, popularly known as IGNOU is one of the most talked-about universities in India.
