Please follow these steps to apply for admission to IGNOU:

Eligibility Requirements for IGNOU Admission

Master of Business Administration (MBA)

  • Minimum Duration: 2 Years
  • Maximum Duration: 5 Years
  • Course Fee: Rs. 37,800
  • Minimum / Maximum Age: No bar

Eligibility:

According to AICTE rules, eligibility criteria for MBA admission are as follows:

    1. Graduates (including CA, CAE, CFA, CS, and CWA) with 50% marks in the general category / 45% marks in the reserved category as per Indian government rules.
    2. The student must ensure that their CGPA meets the eligibility percentage requirements.
    3. IGNOU OPENMAT entrance test clearance conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA).
    4. No age bar

Master of Arts in Distance Education (MADE) [offered by STRIDE, IGNOU]

  • Minimum Duration: 2 Years
  • Maximum Duration: 5 Years
  • Course Fee: Rs. 10,800
  • Minimum / Maximum Age: No bar
  • Eligibility: Graduates from any discipline are eligible for participation in this program

MSc (Mathematics with Applications in Computer Science) (MACS)

  • Minimum Duration: 2 Years
  • Maximum Duration: 4 Years
  • Course Fee: Rs. 26,400
  • Minimum / Maximum Age: No bar

Eligibility:

Candidates should have a significant or honors degree in Mathematics from a recognized University/Institution with an aggregate mark of at least 50%.

If the seats at the centre remain vacant, then:

Candidates with a BA./BSc degree with Mathematics as the main subject with an equal weighting, earning at least 50% in aggregate and 55% in Mathematics, will be considered.

Master of Computer Applications (January 2021 admission cycle and Onward) (MCA_NEW)

  • Minimum Duration: 2 Years
  • Maximum Duration: 4 Years
  • Course Fee: Rs. 48,000 for the entire program, payable semester-by-semester at Rs. 12000/-
  • Minimum / Maximum Age: No bar

Eligibility:

    • (a) BCA/B.Sc. (Computer Science/IT)/Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or an equivalent degree.
    • (b) A minimum of 50% marks in the qualifying examination (45% marks in case of candidates from a reserved category).

OR

    • (a)   (i) A Bachelor's degree of at least three years from an accredited university and Mathematics as one of the 10+2 or graduate-level subjects.
    • (ii) Scored at least 50% in the qualifying examination (45% for reserved candidates).
    • (b) Successful completion of IGNOU's PGDCA

Diploma Courses at IGNOU

The score you get in your Bachelor's degree or the 10+2 may determine whether or not you are eligible for a diploma course.

How to Fill Out the IGNOU Application Form

  • Visit IGNOU's official website at http://www.ignou.ac.in/.
  • On the homepage, choose the Register Online option.
  • Select "Fresh Admission" from the drop-down menu.
  • The link will lead you to the IGNOU Admission Portal.
  • On the top of the page, click the blue "CLICK HERE FOR NEW REGISTRATION" button.
  • You must complete all the required fields, such as the Username, the Application's Name, the Applicant's Email Address, the Confirmation of the Application Email Address, Password, the Confirmation of the Application Password and the 10-Digit Mobile Number.
  • Once you receive your login credentials, you can log in and continue.
  • Using the "Register Online" option, select "Fresh Admission" and then enter your Username and Password and click the "Login" button.

Steps to Follow Once Logged In IGNOU Registration Portal

  • Check the course fees and pay IGNOU the required fee.
  • Click on "Final Submit" after the payment has been completed.
  • Once you have submitted your application form, you can print or download it for further consideration.

Documents Required as per IGNOU Online Registration Portal:

  • Scanned Photograph (less than 100 KB)
  • Scanned Signature (less than 100 KB)
  • Scanned copy of Age Proof (less than 200 KB)
  • Scanned copy of relevant Educational Qualification (less than 200 KB)
  • Scanned Copy of Experience Certificate (if any) (less than 200 KB)
  • Scanned Copy of Category Certificate, if SC/ST/OBC (less than 200 KB)
  • Scanned Copy of BPL Certificate, if Below Poverty Line (less than 200 KB)
