Work hazards and safety practices are crucial components of occupational health and safety in any industry. They play a pivotal role in ensuring the well-being and protection of workers, preventing accidents, injuries, and illnesses, and promoting a safe working environment. Work hazards refer to potential sources of harm or adverse health effects in the workplace. These hazards can be physical, chemical, biological, ergonomic, or psychosocial in nature.

Objectives

• To study and understand the Behavioural Based Safety Management and its relevance to Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB);
• To study the Safety Management Practices, the causes of various accidents and assess the Safety Culture prevailing in Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB)
