IGNOU MEDSP-51 Project – Corporate Social Responsibility in Indian Hospitality Industry

Corporate sector in India has been provided legal and constitutional framework to safeguard interests of people and natural environment. This has been achieved through a number of legislations covering both internal and external facets of an organizational functioning.

Objectives

• To study corporate social responsibility policy initiatives of organizations under the purview of the present study.
• To examine the underlying factors for the need and relevance of corporate social responsibility obligation/mandate adoption.
• To carry out a comparative analysis of corporate social responsibility contribution of the select organization.
• To propose an organization specific CSR model for select Hotels.
