The Big Things about B.Com. Project

Published on Saturday December 3, 2022 20:26 by G team

In the final year, the students of commerce, regardless of the university they are in, require project submission on a contemporary topic. The students of commerce fail in project, largely because they are not adequately aware of "how a project is written", "what should be its lay out", "what headings should the project contain", etc. Project submission is like performing Pooja, offering pray to the almighty, deity, that demand certain rituals, practices,  instructions, to be followed religiously.

While preparing for the B.Com Project, there are a number of things that need to be done/to keep into consideration. The present blog sheds light on those necessary things.

This is the era where financial muscles rule. Money is the basis of all exchanges. The intelligence of a person is largely decided by his/ her ability to produce money. The quantum and speed of money decide a particular person's worth. And since all money transactions come under the heading Commerce, needless to say, how important the subject itself is in the present scenario.

While preparing for the B.Com Project, there are a number of things that need to be done/to keep into consideration. Some of these are as follows:

  • Consult your Project Guide/Course Coordinator: Mind, your project guide/course coordinate happens to be the most important person in your project submission. He is the very person you interact, coordinate and ask for tips, opinions, etc. whenever you need. You should not forget the changes suggested by your guide while preparing for the project. Also, do take the signature of your guide because it is needed on your progress report sheet. Moreover, you must obtain clearance from your guide prior to the final printing of your project report. Mind, before you get the signature of your guide, be sure that you have signed Declaration and Acknowledgement.

  • Be mindful of the topic of your project: Many final-year students of B.Com. fail to understand the nuances of topic selection. And this is one of the most important reasons why they end up choosing a topic that neither interests them, nor become able to impress their examiner. Most of the time, their peers or some close acquaintances decide the topic of project. You must refrain yourself from any such practices. Know the area of your interest, availability of the related content online and offline and then decide your topic.

  • Follow the guidelines of presentation: You cannot apply your free will, while presenting your project. There are clear instructions, which you need to follow religiously. Everything is well defined, right from the paper used to a number of copies to be prepared.
