IGNOU DNHE-04 Project – Knowledge, Attitude and Practices Regarding Menstrual Hygiene among School Girls in Rewari

Menstruation is a physiological process in female adolescent which usually started at age of 9–12 years old. The periodic discharge of blood and mucosal tissue from the uterus, occurring approximately monthly from puberty to menopause in non pregnant women and females of other primate species. First menstruation experience would be different among adolescent girl but if they aware about menstruation before menarche, they can prepare themselves to accept and build good attitude towards menstruation.
