IGNOU DNHE-04 Project – Impact of Junk Food on the Nutritional and other Health Parameter of the School Children in Noida

School is that place where children spends most of time and learn their future. There were we lay the foundation for their healthy habits. Eat junk food and getting fat, which is unhealthy. It can cause harm to health. Food is the major requirement of life. Therefore sucking and gulping process starts from the birth of any newborn. India is one of the countries, who have rich traditions and culture of food. We have several cousins since ancient times; we have knowledge of combinations of various foods.

Objectives

• To assess the nutritional status of school going children who are habitual of Junk food.
• To assess the health status of school going children who are Habitual of Junk food.
• To find out of performance level of junk food habitual, less habitual or less habitual.
• To study the knowledge and awareness of the impact of junk food amongst children.
• To study the causes of high consumption of the junk food.
