As per MHRD, it has been conveyed that NIOS is going to conduct 6 months Bridge course, i.e. Professional Diploma Programme of Elementary Teachers (PDPET) with the help of concerned states.
- The Teacher should have a B.Ed. degree from an institution approved by NCTE.
- The Teacher should be In-service Elementary Teacher teaching classes I-V.
- The teacher should be teaching in School as defined under 2(n) of RTE Act 2009 and recruited as per the RTE Act 2009
As per the process after registration, the eligibility criteria has to be verified by the concerned Principal. Now the process of registration and verification by the Principal is over. As per the record total of 104496 Teachers (All India), the data are verified by the Principal and their admission is confirmed. As per the Schedule of activities, the following action has to be done by the concerned.
- Availability of I-Card. Online I-card is available and same may be downloaded from the D.El.ED. Bridge Course Website (dledbr.nios.ac.in).
